Hill Named 2012 Youth of the Year
Wednesday, February 1st marked the Club’s annual Youth of the Year final judging and celebration. The Brigade had a total of eight participants and we are proud to announce Kalela Hill as our 2012 Youth of the Year.
Kalela, a senior at Ashley High School, has been a member of the Brigade for over 10 years. She plans to attend either ECU or UNC Charlotte in the fall and to become a pediatrician. Kalela will represent the Brigade at the NC Boys & Girls Club YOY competition in April.
Congratulations to all the YOY participants Devante, Denea, Vella and Cecilia, YOY finalists Michael, Brittany and Lauren and to our overall winner Kalela.
