4th Annual Bocce Ball Tournament Sets New Record

It was a record-setting day at the 4th Annual Bocce Ball Tournament! On Saturday, April 24th a record number of teams came out to Captain Bill’s to participate in the event. A total of 78 teams participated in this year’s tournament, breaking the old record of 62. The event also set a record for the amount of money raised, with the tournament netting almost $4,000, which will go to benefit the Brigade Boys & Girls Club.

The weather was perfect as the rain held off a players competed in the 2-person team in hopes to be crowned Bocce Ball winners.

This year’s winners are:

First Flight 1st Place: Steve O’Boyle & Nick Sorrells

First Flight 2nd Place: Tim Sorrells & Nate Sorrells

Second Flight 1st Place: Bryan Batten & Carl Stargart

Second Flight 2nd Place: Allison Day & Hunter Bryson
